Dancers from the School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet will be performing at the Goold Orchards Apple Festival in Schodack, NY on Saturday, October 9th at 3:00 PM.Ê

Barnes & Noble Bookfair

Author David Rottenberg will be reading his new bookö Gwendolyn the Graceful Pig from 1:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, October 10th.Ê Dancers from the Academy and Junior Company of the Albany Berkshire Ballet will be performing during his reading of the book.Ê Dancers will also be performing excerpts from The Nutcracker elsewhere in the store from 11-6. (Schedule to follow!) The not-for-profit regional company, The Albany Berkshire Ballet, will receive a percentage of all purchases made on Sunday, when customers say they want to support the Albany Berkshire Ballet with their purchase that day!Ê Vouchers will also be given out to the school for easy checkout!Ê

Macyâs Shop For A Cause

On Saturday, October 16th, Macyâs holds itâs annual Shop for a Cause Day.Ê Stores throughout the country participate in this event.Ê Dancers from the Albany Berkshire Ballet, the Junior Company, and from the Academy program at the School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet will be performing at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 16 at the Macyâs store in Colonie Center, Colonie, NY.Ê

Employment Position ÷-

Position for School Administrator is needed at the School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet.Ê Duties include but are not limited to, answering phones, filing, marketing and advertising, responding to email inquiries, database management.Ê Some retail experience helpful but not required.Ê Willing to train the right person.Ê Hours are approximately 3:00-8:00, Monday through Friday.Ê Some Saturday hours may be requiredö approximately 25 hours.Ê The ideal candidate must be extremely personable with adults and children, computer literate, be able to multi-task and able to handle all types of customer personalities with professionalism and grace.Ê Please send inquiries and resume to attention:Ê ãSchool Administrator Positionä at 25 Monroe St., Suite #210, Albany, NY 12210 or alboffice@taconic.net
