Executive Director
The Albany Berkshire Ballet seeks a motivated manager to lead our
organization to the next level of excellence. The qualified candidate
will also be high organized, detail oriented and able to manage
simultaneous priorities under pressure. Strong leadership qualities;
marketing experience; computer literacy and writing skills a must.
Experience in non-profit arts management preferred, a dance background
a plus.
Job responsibilities include:
- Development and maintenance of an aggressive marketing strategy
for the company
- Management of regular performance seasons (Nutcracker and
Summer), - including tour scheduling; contracting dancers/crew;
managing ticket sales; marketing shows; coordinate multiple groups
of staff and volunteers.
- Program development in conjunction with the Artistic Director
and Development Director
- serve as the organization liaison to the Board of Directors
- participate in long-range planning, budgeting and creative
thinking for future
- ensure quality evaluation of previous programming and
marketing practices
- Oversee administrative staff in daily functioning of the office
